CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
This qualification will enable you to become an early childhood educator, who contributes to planning for and providing educational experiences and care for infants, young children and school aged children.
Educators are supported to use organisational policies, procedures and individual children's profiles to plan educational experiences and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play, and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes.
This qualification supports understanding and implementing the 'Early Years Learning' Framework and/or the 'My Time Our Place' Framework and develops knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
Graduates will gain the minimum qualification to be able to work in the Early Years Sector, such as Long Day Care Services, Preschool, Occasional Care Services, Out Of School Hours Care, In Home Care or as a Family Day Care Educator in their own home.
Training can be completed through a traineeship, independent one-on-one training, or as part of a classroom group (subject to demand).
